Lavandin Abrialis (France)

BOTANICAL PORTRAIT The hybrid of the Lavender Plant, Lavandin Abrialis is an evergreen shrub with a lovely aroma and is much larger than normal Lavender Plants. The flower heads of Lavandin are smaller than regular lavender and have a grey, blue color. SOURCE Wherever Lavender grows, the Lavandin Plant can grow as well. This particular oil is imported from France. ORIGIN A hybrid of Lavender, people have been attempting to grow these hybrids since the 18th and 19th century to help the soap making process. PRINCIPLE CONSTITUENTS This species of Lavender is mostly composed of Linalool at 34% and Linalyl acetate at 22.4% which give it a wonderful aroma in its chemical makeup that is strongly camphorous. HISTORY In the 18th and 19th centuries, many people were trying to make a hybrid of the Lavender Plant, and the result was the fantastic Lavandin Plant.

SKIN CARE The wonderful Lavandin Essential Oil has skin healing properties which are also non-irritating and non-sensitizing. Lavandin may be able to help those who suffer from oily skin to breakouts of acne. IMMUNE SYSTEM The Lavandin Essential Oil is said to have many uses with colds and head congestion as it can ease these symptoms and illnesses to make it easier to cope with them while you get over the cold or the flu. RESPIRATORY SYSTEMLavandin has an intensely strong camphorous, lavender smell that is very opening to many airways and thus can help ease the symptoms of bronchitis asthma and whooping cough while allowing for easier breathing from laryngitis, catarrh and halitosis which are causes of sore throats. This will make it easier to take a more fulfilling and deeper breath. CIRCULATION, MUSCLES AND JOINTSThe anti-inflammatory properties of the Lavandin Abrialis Essential Oil help soothe things like muscular aches as well as sprains. Lavandin may be able to increase better circulation in the body. AROMALavandin Abrialis is used in Commercial Manufacturing to add a wonderful Lavender smell to products. Lavandin is a much rougher smell compared to the Lavender 40/42 but still as pleasing and still very useful for aromatherapy.
