The Fir Tree Bark is brown and rough to the touch. SOURCE The Fir Tree grows all over the world but can be found most in wide areas of Russia as well as some areas of Canada, the Northern United States and some parts of Northern Europe.ORIGIN Because of its high concentration of Vitamin C, the Fir Needles were commonly used to treat some respiratory issues and prevented scurvy. PRINCIPLE CONSTITUENTS Fir needle is 24% a-Pinene and 14% Bornyl Acetate with trace amounts of Tricyclene, Myrcene and Borneol.
