BOTANICAL PORTRAIT  Roman Chamomile is a small plant of about 10 in. and stocky with a hairy, much-branched stem. Roman Chamomile bears flowers similar to daisy flowers and is larger than German Chamomile flowers. An apple-like scent surrounds the whole of the Roman Chamomile Flower. SOURCE The Roman Chamomile Plant is grown majorly in central and Eastern Europe but is mainly produced in countries like France and the United Kingdom.ORIGIN Over time, the Chamomile Roman Plant has a reputation for being versatile in many fields such as digestive, respiratory and urinal problems as well as being able to help the skin heal itself and make a healthier and more beautiful complexion. HISTORY The Chamomile Roman Plant dates back as early as 90 B.C.E when Asclepiades of Bithynia received it from Pliny the Elder for medical purposes because Pliny was very skilful in prescribing herbs.
