 BOTANICAL PORTRAIT A medium-sized tree, growing up to 15 feet tall, Frankincense Carteri grows wider near the top of the tree. Frankincense Carteri has dark brown bark and green needles. SOURCE The Frankincense Carteri Essential Oil is native to Somalia and Ethiopia in Africa. Ours is cultivated from Ethiopia.ORIGIN Frankincense Carteri was used first as spiritual perfumery and incense. However, Frankincense can be used in coughs and respiratory formulations. Frankincense was a Holy Oil in the Middle East as it was used for most ceremonies to communicate with the creator.
