BOTANICAL PORTRAIT  The bark of the Cinnamon Tree is very coarse and has a magnificent aroma surrounding it. PRINCIPLE CONSTITUENTS  The main constituent of Cinnamon Bark is Cinnamyl Aldehyde at 74.2% HISTORYMedicinally, Cinnamon Bark was used as a healing aid for digestive and menstrual problems, colds, the flu and as a general stimulant. In Egypt, it was used for foot massages, as an ingredient of love potions and as a sedative for birthing.
