Larger Quantities: For sizes larger than 4 liters, such as drums or bulk containers, additional documentation and packaging might be required.
For Hazardous Essential Oils
Certain essential oils with low flash points or other hazardous properties (like clove, cinnamon, or eucalyptus) are regulated as Dangerous Goods. In this case:
Small Quantities (Less than 1 liter): These are often allowed under limited quantity exemptions, provided they are packaged according to International Air Transport Association (IATA) guidelines.
Larger Quantities: Special Dangerous Goods packaging, labeling, and documentation are required. The maximum size per package is generally limited to 5 liters, but this depends on the classification of the oil.
